Mecidiye Order Medallion Badge

Mecidiye Awarded with the Order of II. Abdulhamid to the two Important names: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Louis Pasteur

Founding leader of the Republic of Turkey Mr Kemal Ataturk on December 25, 1906. He was awarded the Mecidiye Order from the Fifth Rank by Abdülhamid II for his outstanding services in Damascus while he was a staff captain. Another name awarded by Abdülhamid II is Louis Pasteur, who found the rabies vaccine and saved the lives of millions of people. This clearly shows the importance Abdulhamid gave to science and scientists.
